FOUR Popular Hotels Near BTS BANGKOK IN Sukhumvit  Area

1)S15 Sukhumvit Hotel 217 Sukhumvit 15Klongtoey Nua, BangkokBangkok10110Thailand

 Reviews by travellers

<_p> S15 is ideally located for access to the nearby restaurant area, the Skytrain, shops and convenience stores.

The hotel is well presented, clean and neat and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a Business Suite on the smoking floor and found the room fresh and clean on arrival. The room was quite spacious and well maintained and good value for the extra money it cost for the suite. Though we did find the lack of power points (especially working ones) a bit of a problem for charging phones, iPads, cameras, etc. The WiFi in the room was fast and reliable.

The buffet breakfast was adequate especially if you enjoy Asian food but could have been hotter (tip: keep the warmer-lids closed) though the chef at the egg station did a great job with our fried eggs.

Will we stay here again? Probably.

A recent stay of two nights at this location certainly did not disappoint. Situated in probably the main shopping district of Bangkok, the Sukhumvit area, this hotel is a very good choice and well priced.
It is located within a few minutes of BTS or underground which will get you to Central World or Siam Paragon within 5 minutes. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which had ample space, a large bathroom with rain shower next to the bath tub and a king size bed with white linen. And despite the hotel's position just off the super busy Sukhumvit Rd, the rooms were perfectly quiet and peaceful with no noise from the street to be heard.

Breakfast had all we wanted and more ..coffee not that great in my opinion but that's really a matter of taste. The hotel has an on site spa that offers a variety of treatments. We received a complimentary neck and shoulder massage with our booking of two nights and it was a blissful experience. I think you'll be hard pressed to beat this hotel for price and its location.

Service is not spectacular, but i would certainly recommend this hotel if you are considering a shopping trip to the heart of Bangkok.

 Reviews by travellers

Stayed in this lovely hotel from 14 to 17 Sept and so far it is our best hotel we have stayed in Bangkok.
The room was spacious, working desk with 2 international multi plugs and comes with a bathtub and standing shower. They also put us 2 new bottles of 600ml mineral water, 2 bananas and an Apple everyday in the room to keep us hydrated and filled up in this hot weather.

Hotel location is very accessible to most of the shopping district and night markets (30 minutes direct train ride to Weekend Chatuchak market). There is also a 24 hours Supermarket and McDonald's.

We also like to thank Mr T.Naruewat for making recommendations and appointment for us to the nearby Healthland Thai massage. He has been very helpful in making our stay an unforgettable one.

We stayed at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit for 4 nights. Upon arriving at the hotel in the heart of Bangkok we were impressed by the service of the staff and the facility. Very upscale.
I've never seen hallways in a hotel that were that spacious. We had fantastic rooms on the 21st floor of the hotel with great views of the city. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and luxurious. Fresh fruit and water were brought up to the room each day and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was fantastic with great food selections available that change every day. Swimming in the salt water pool felt great on a hot afternoon and the workout facilities were also quite good. Having a drink in the hotel bar while listening to live music was a perfect way to end each day.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Right across the street from the huge Terminal 21 mall and less than a minute's walk from the Asok BTS station. If we are ever in Bangkok again, we would definitely stay here again

Room Tips For Travellers

The Deluxe double room on 16th floor was spacious, neat and clean but hoped the bed was bit larger. Also there was some leakage in the bathroom and it seemed the leaked water was coming from the flush/toilet but not visible and coming near to the bathroom door however that did not bother us much cause we were out most of the time. Also the WiFi connection was not good and getting disconnected & everytime we had to go to reception to get it reactivated and not connecting to more than one device and sometimes two. Overall it was a nice experince. The staff at the breakfast area, reception, concierge, house keeping were very helpful. Overall a very good stay!” (anandsm2014)

Reviews by travellers

I visited this hotel on my trip to Bangkok in Jan 2015. I booked this through Agoda as they have amazing deals and reviews.

From the minute I stepped through the glass doors, I was mesmerised. The reception area is HUGE with a gorgeous chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The bell boys hopped to attention to grab our bags soar didn't have to carry all of our luggage to the rooms. The concierge desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. This was my first visit to a 5 star hotel so was all quite new to me but after my experience at the grande centre point hotel, I would definitely return regardless of price! Quality of quantity.

Our room was white white white! So clean and modern! The blinds were electric and we had fabulous views of Bangkok. The room is more like an apartment so you get all the necessities. I personally loved the toilet with all the buttons (I won't spoil it for you).

Both my friend and I decided to have a wander around the large hotel. Their number one attraction is the infinity pool which is, quite frankly breathtaking. They have sun beds in the pool so you can sunbathe yet keep cool which is definitely a plus in the humid heat. The lounge area surrounding the pool is beautiful, with lotus flowers in the ponds. They have a bar by the pool which is lovely to sit by while watching the sunset go down over the busy life of Bangkok.

We spent a lot of our time in the spa located in the hotel. Now the beauticians where a little rude, however that is somewhat forgotten as soon as you receive your massage (foot being my fav). Literally never felt so relaxed. It was around 800 baht which is next to nothing in GBP. Honestly, if you stay here you MUST go to the Spa!

The restaurant there is also lovely. We had breakfast there only as we spent most of our evenings out and about in the city. First I found it crazy they had noodles option for brekkie but who doesn't love a cheeky Thai in the morning? They also sell western food for those who love their bacon and eggs.

There is so much I can write about this place, however my hand is now hurting from all the typing so I will let you all be the judge of this place. Don't miss out and book ASAP

This hotel was exceptional. Upon arrival they were very welcoming and greeted us with smiles.

Check in was very quick and they took our bags to our room. The room was wonderful, clean and spacious. I really enjoyed use of the tub, stand up shower, state of the art toilet, washing machine, enormous window with retractable shades (and beautiful view), comfortable bed, fridge and freezer, cooktop and microwave.

Breakfast was good with many options (western food, Thai and Japanese). Their facilities were an added bonus, with swimming pool, gym, yoga room, putting greens and play room for kids.

The location was superb as the hotel is connected to Terminal 21 mall and is right in the heart of the downtown area with lots of street side shopping and restaurants. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here.

4) Four Points By Sheraton Bangkok Sukhumvit 15       Sukhumvit Soi 15, Watthana, Bangkok, Thailand

Reviews by travellers

The hotel is perfectly located for an ideal business or leisure trip to Bangkok. Service is excellent, friendly and efficient.

The hotel itself is a relatively modern space. Rooms are comfortable and well sized. My room was in the Garden Wing and was quiet with a charming view overlooking some traditional Bangkok houses. There are multiple dining and drinking options available on site itself.

The hotel is well situated for east access to the Sky Train (BTS) and subway (MRTA) and Terminal 21 (a shopping mall). It takes about 20 minutes to get to Siam via the Sky Train. Taxis are very easily available and the hotel staff are happy to help

Had a fantastic 10 day stay here in August. I have stayed at several places nearby including Dream, Sofitel and S31hotels and this one is by far the best around and great value for money.
I ll be back! Great size rooms, clean and modern. The rooftop pool is bigger than it looks and its very comfortable. The gym could do with a bench but other than that its adequate. Friendly staff and easy checkin /out, english ability was good.
Excellent location near everything. Had a problem with the electricity one night for a few hours but they were very apologetic and gave use a free dinner and drinks and a free breakfast the next morning. Really well handled. Taxi to and from the airport should be no more than 400B and 250-300B if you manage to get them to use the meter. There are several laundries nearby, insist on by the kilo and no ironing is cheaper. Soi 8 opposite the Kiwi pub has the best laundry, 4 hour service for 100B a kilo. The breakfast at 4 Points is a silly price so get a reduced room rate by declining.
They want 500B for a standard buffet breakfast! You can have breakfast for 350B at the irish pub out front of the hotel from 10am or several nearby for 250B.
